Dear Friends,
It is a great honour for me as Deputy Lord Provost for Glasgow to be invited to the official opening of the Glasgow Translation Services new offices in Union Street.
There is no doubt over the years how we have seen Glasgow become more of a multi-cultural city, which is wonderful. There have been many international events taken place, as Glasgow has become more recognised as a city of international status.
Then of course we are so proud to have won the right to host the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
It is extremely important for us to have the Glasgow Translation Service who will have a large part to play in assisting the many delegates who come from overseas in understanding our Culture.
